September 26, 2011 - Really Liked It 
Last week we stayed 3 nights at the Eastgate Motel. We were in town for the State Junior Rugby Championship carnival and our Queen Room was a real haven during a hectic time.
The room was very clean with good quality and comfortable furnishing. The bed was just gorgeous. We appreciated coming back to the room each evening to find that it had been serviced, the bed made and new towels and the mini bar restocked.
The large flat-screen TV had excellent reception and colour. The bathroom was large with every facility required including body wash, shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the large shower.
The Motel is right on the Range Highway which is very busy and noisy, we had probably one of the rooms closest to the highway - but in the Room it is very well sound proofed and was not a problem at all. Step out onto the Balcony though that fronted the highway and it was really noisy. Simple answer to that was to stay off the balcony and keep the double glazed glass door closed.
All in all we will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. Terrific value for money.

Excellent customer service from the time of booking, phone calls, request to change room type all handled professionally with a friendly manner. Restaurant food and service was excellent. Great location, slept very well, beds were very comfy. Would definitely recommend this motel to others as the Hamilton family from Gurley NSW recommended to us.

We were booked into the Eastgate after another hotel made an error with our booking. We are glad for the mistake. This hotel was wonderful and clean, had beautiful linen and towels normally reserved for big 5 star hotels. The decor was simple and modern and very roomy and comfortable.
Unfortunately we were only there for one night and out again early. But because of the comfort of the hotel would love to return, spend a few days and enjoy the restaurant.

September 25, 2011 - Really Liked It
The Eastgate and its owner managers are first rate. I have stayed there on many occasions as a business traveller and have never had cause for complaint. It is an architect designed motel with an eye for comfort. If you are travelling through or to Toowoomba be sure to drop in and say hi to the owners, Merv and Leonna, I am sure you will not be disappointed.
Room Tip: Just ask the owners, but I have not been able to find a bad room.

Excellent standard of room, stunning food from the restaurant, with all staff encountered very pleasant. Not centrally located in the CBD - but not a negative as only minutes away. Will definitely stay again :)

We only stayed one night in this lovely motel and right away we felt like we should stay longer. The room was very well equipped and very comfortable. Spotlessly clean and every comfort. They have really nice huge bath towels and a lovely comfy bed with great pillows.There was also a good sized flatscreen TV and FREE internet ( what a pity the larger hotels 'can't' do this). They also have a really top class restaurant with fantastic food at reasonable prices and a nice little bar area to have a drink before dinner. Our room was towards the back so we had no problem with noise from the highway. A great place to stay all round. Highly recommended !
